Flamingoes dismiss Namibia, through to the next round

 
The Nigerian Women’s Under-17 team, the Flamingoes are through to the final round of qualifiers for the Jordan 2016 Fifa Under-17 Women's World Cup after a 5-0 trouncing of their Namibian counterparts in Windhoek on Friday.
The Flamingoes go into the next round with a 9-0 aggregate win after demolishing Namibia 4-0 in the first leg in Abuja.
Nigeria got up and running in the seventh minute as Patience Dike got the opener at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
After a glitz of misses, Cynthia Aku continued her fine form from the first leg as she scored to give Nigeria a 2-0 lead going into half time.
Aku was again on target in the 55th minute as Nigeria ran riot over the hapless Namibians who could not cope with the firepower of the Flamingoes.
Rasheedat Ajibade and Yetunde Fajobi completed the coup de grace with two goals to give Nigeria a 5-0 win on the day and 9-0 on aggregate.
Bala Nkiyu's side will now meet South Africa in the final round after Zambia withdrew from the match with the South Africans.
The final tournament which is in its fifth edition will be held in Jordan from September 30 to October 21, 2016.
