Ighalo is Player of the Month for December in England

 

Nigerian forward, Odion Jude Ighalo, has been named the Barclays Premier League Player for December while his manager Quique Sanchez Flores ensured it was complete swoop for Watford FC as he was also voted the Manager of the month.
The bully goal poacher notched up five goals in five appearances in December beginning with a goal in the 2-0 victory against Norwich CityHe racked up another important goal which turned out to be the winner in the club's lone win at Sunderland on December 12.
Five days before Christmas, Ighalo netted a double to put Liverpool to the sword in Watford's 3-0 win at the Vicarage Road.
On Boxing Day, Ighalo was involved in one of Watford's two goals in their 2-2 draw at Chelsea when his effort was deflected in off England defender Gary Cahill.
Ighalo's goal on December 28 against Tottenham Hotspur, however, could not prevent his side from slipping to a 1-2 home loss.
The former Granada CF and Udinese man has thus far scored 13 goals for Watford in 21 league matches this season, and is available for selection when they make the trip to struggling Swansea City on Monday.
