La Liga pace setters, Athletico Madrid are in talks with Chelsea over a €50 million (£38m) move to sign forward Diego Costa and winger, Pedro Rodriquez, according to Fichajes.net.
The Liga leaders have sent director Andrea Berta to west London to hammer out a deal to sign the Spain team-mates, who have scored nine league goals between them in an unhappy season at Stamford Bridge.
Atletico have long held a desire to re-sign Costa after he left the club in the summer of 2014, while reports have suggested Pedro has become homesick after a disappointing start to life in England.
Jackson Martinez could be offered as a makeweight in the deal, with the former Porto man having scored just twice since joining Diego Simeone's side from Porto in the summer.
