Watford sign goalkeeper, Costel Pantilimon from Sunderland

Watford have announced the signing of Costel Pantilimon from Sunderland on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 6'8" Romania international joins the Hornets for an undisclosed fee.

He played 49 times for Sunderland after joining them in the summer of 2014, including 18 times this season.
He had previously spent three years at Manchester City for who he made 29 appearances after joining them for £3m from Romanian side Politehnica Timisoara.
A statement on the Black Cats website said: "Sunderland AFC would like to thank Costel and wish him the very best for the future at his new club."
Espanyol were also reported to be interested in signing him.
