NPFL campaigner, Warri Wolves have bolstered their rank with
the signing of Enyimba duo, Markson Ojobo and Bernard Okorowanta ahead of their
Champions League campaign and NPFL competition, a top source has informed.
Warri Wolves contested the signing of Ojobo with fellow NPFL
side, Sunshine Stars who also showed interest in the player before he was
convinced by the Seasiders. Wolves, on the other hand had to outwit Awa United
and Nasarawa United in the race to sign Okorowanta.
The duo has joined up with their new team mates who are
intensifying preparation for the new season under new gaffer, Sam Okpodu at the
training base in Oleh.
Chairman of Warri Wolves, Moses Etu has hailed the
acquisition of the two players who have just joined the side with a two-legged
important Champions League match awaiting them against Sao Tome and Principe
side, Sporting Praia Cruz holding next month, the Super Four tourney and
several other competitions in Nigeria.

Etu further praised another new recruit Okiki Omonefe for impressing
at the training base while noting that ex-Golden Eaglets shot stopper, Dele
Ajiboye has also been settling well in camp since he was signed.
“We have signed Ojobo and Okorowanta while Dele Ajiboye and Okiki Omonefe
have also added to the new players that have moved to Warri Wolves. We are
hoping that their addition would bring about the needed change in the team this
season. It is our desire to excel in all the competitions we have entered for.“The glimpses we have got since the training camp commenced have given us reasons to be optimistic that good days are here again,”. Etu stated.
